Loan Sale

talent, and relationships required to evaluate and execute an intelligent loan sale strategy. Loan sales are optimal when an institution desires immediate liquidly, reduction in NPL’s or other concentrations, or targeted risk based capital metrics.
Property Sale
Property sales are typically appropriate for an institution’s OREO assets. An obvious sale consideration for an institution is the asset’s current market value vs. its potential longer term valuation. Unidentifiable litigation, property entitlement expiration, cost to carry, and physical deterioration are all risks less obvious but very important considerations.
